\"Expressing your thoughts and feeling in words is an art but expressing them through poetry and drama is a big challenge\". This was stated by Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon, Vice Chancellor, Punjab Agricultural University, while formally releasing a book titled, \"Main Punjab Bolda Han\". The book has been written by Dr. Nirmal Singh Jaura, Deputy Director (Public Relations) in Centre for Communication and International Linkages, PAU and an eminent TV anchor.
Lauding the efforts of the author, Dr. Dhillon said that the book presents history of Punjab in poetic and drama forms. A unique combination of history, poetry and drama makes this book different. He congratulated Dr. Jaura for presenting Punjab\'s long history in a concise form.
Commenting on the book, Mr. Gurbhajan Singh Gill, President, Punjabi Sahit Akademy said that the book presents the story of Punjab from ancient times to the present through poetry. It touches different facets of history and raises several questions.
In her vote of thanks, Dr. Neelam Grewal, Dean, College of Home Science and Additional Director of Communication said the book can be aptly described \'Discovery of Punjab\' as it gives a concise perspective on the history of the state.
Earlier, Dr. D. S. Cheema, Dean, College of Agriculture and Director Students Welfare welcomed to guests. Several eminent personalities associated with literature, art and culture were present in the function.
