Union Minister for Rural Development Jairam Ramesh on Thursday said there would be no dearth of central funds in implementing projects in Assam.
Addressing two public meetings at Lailuri and Sibasthan after reviewing rural development projects in Samuguri constituency of central Assam's Nagaon district, the Union Minister urged the people to take advantage of various projects initiated by the central government.
"There will be no dearth of central funds and proper minitoring will be done", he said.
Earlier the minister took stock of the developmental projects and told the local authorities to keep informed about their implementation.
Ramesh was accompanied by state's Rural Development Minister Rockybul Hussain.
