PAU STARTS NEW COURSE ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

LUDHIANA, JULY 22:-------



PAU is set to launch one new part-time Certificate Course on \'Interactive Skills and Personality Enhancement\' from August this year. According to the Dean College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, Dr R.S.Sidhu, this is a 'one semester' course, which would focus on developing all aspects of personality of the students as well as fine tuning their confidence and public speaking skills. Apart from gaining technical knowledge in their respective fields, students need to master the art of communication, writing, reading and comprehension to gain an edge over their competitors, he said.



The course will also help in developing skills on how to face an interview and group discussion as well as the art of public speaking, attitude cultivation, decorum and protocol, business etiquettes, time management, stress management, ethics and values, etc. The course will start in the first week of August and classes will be held in evening hours, he said. Pre-final year undergraduates or graduates with minimum 50% marks are eligible to enroll in this course, which is open to PAU students and staff as well as to outsiders.
