PAU STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL TRAINING AT MOSCOW ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY

LUDHIANA, JUNE 21:



A group of four students, namely Manpreet Singh, Angpal Singh Virk, Kanav Sehgal and Gagandeep Cheetu, from the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (COAE&T), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), will attend practical training at Moscow State University of Environmental Engineering (MSUEE), Moscow from June 19 to July 3.



Divulging the details, Dr. PPS Lubana, Dean, COAE&T, said that the visit has been planned under the students exchange programme as per the memorandum of understanding signed between PAU and MSUEE for the candidates pursuing agricultural engineering at the farm varsity. Disclosing that more than 50 students had already been exchanged between two countries in the last six years for professional as well as cultural cooperation between PAU and Russian university, he added that the scope of this exchange programme would be widened with more collaborative academic partnerships in coming years for the experimental learning of students. He told that Dr. Sarabjit Singh, Professor, will be the incharge of the group whereas Dr Satish Kumar Gupta, Incharge of Training Unit, will coordinate this visit with A. Sorokin Vice Rector, MSUEE, Moscow Highlighting that such international linkages would help the students in enhancing their professional skills, they said that the students would be imparted practical training in the discipline of agricultural engineering in Russia.
