Jairam Ramesh to inaugurate Bio-remediation project on Buddha Nullah on April 23

The Union Minister for Environment Mr Jairam Ramesh will inaugurate the multicrore bip-remediation project on Budha Nullah here on April 23. Mr Ramesh will be accompanied by a delegation of senior officials and experts from the environment ministry.

Disclosing this here today, the Ludhiana MP and the national spokesperson of the Indian National Congress Manish Tewari said, the project has been sanctioned by the union ministry for the clean up of the Buddha Nullah. He said, it will be hundred per cent financed by the government of India.

Tewari said, this project is one of the major projects of the Union Environment Ministry and will be regularly monitored. It will help in solving the long pending problem of pollution in the Buddha Nullah he said.
