‘Body Energy Amplification Camp’ was celebrated by the N.S.S Unit of Everest Pb. Sr. Sec. School

'Body Energy Amplification Camp' was celebrated by the N.S.S Unit (National Service Scheme) of Everest Pb. Sr. Sec. School, Moti Nagar, Ludhiana on 23rd April 2011 at 10:30 AM. Sh. Rajinder Sharma, President, Association of the PSEB Affiliated Schools Punjab (Regd.) addressed the N.S.S. volunteers. The other present on the occasion were Mrs. Shaweta Sharma, Meditator & Ms. Archana Sharma, Meditator, etc.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Rajinder Sharma explained the motive of N.S.S. that is 'Not Me But You'. Describing the aims of N.S.S. he told that first to develop the personality and second to cultivate the habit of Social Services. He expressed that N.S.S. unit was originated in 2nd Oct. 1969 to fulfill the desire of Mahatma Gandhi, "Father of Nation" and N.S.S. was his dream. He further said that our actual physical body is only a small part of our true self. What we see is not all we get. The human body is not just the blood and bones we perceive on the physical plane. We are made of energy that permeates every layer of our being, it is us. What we know as the physical body is just energy that is vibrating more slowly than the energy that is beyond our standard perception.



On this occasion Mrs Shaweta Sharma, said that our body structure is controlled by The Aura or energy body, the Chakra system, Meridians, Marma, Nadi and other energy structure systems.

Mrs. Poonam Sharma, Programme Officer, told the students that N.S.S. cultivates the spirit of brotherhood, spirit of social service and spreads social awareness among the people. She further said that body has two main energy systems (aerobic and anaerobic energy system). Energy is needed for maintenance, growth, everyday activities and exercise. The amount of energy required during exercise by the body depends on the intensity and duration of exercise. She had also intimated the audience about the activities of N.S.S. The students and volunteers were enlightened about the role of N.S.S. inculcating the spirit of self discipline services and service to the nation and the country.

On this occasion the N.S.S. unit of the same school organised a group discussion with the people to save the life and environment.
