The Punjab School Education Board has conducted the Second Semester examination of ‘Science’ subject for 10th class

The Punjab School Education Board has conducted the Second Semester examination of 'Science' subject for 10th class & 'Chemistry' subject for XII class on 21st March 2011. The paper was not in proper pattern of the Punjab School Education Board as per the syllabus prescribed by the board authorities.

According to the syllabus for X class the short answer type questions will be from the whole syllabus. But in the question paper the syllabus instructions were not followed and there was not any short answer type questions were found in the paper from first semester syllabus.

In the similar manner according to the syllabus for the chemistry subject the short answer type questions will be from the whole syllabus. But in the paper the short answer type question were from the second semester syllabus only.

Sh. Rajinder Sharma, President, Association of the Punjab School Education Board, Affiliated Schools, Punjab (Regd) said it created confusion for the most of the students. He further said that board should give minimum five marks in the above said papers to the students.
