CHANDIGARH, March 6:

Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Capt Amarinder Singh today expressed profound grief and shock over the sad and tragic death of Aditya Jaitely, Staff Photographer of the Times of India based in Ludhiana, in a road accident near Chandigarh last night.

In a condolence message Capt Amarinder said, he was shocked to learn about the death of a budding and promising photo-journalist like Aditya. Expressing his heartfelt condolences to Aditya's father, Mr Ashwani Jaitely, Chief of Bureau, Ajit, Ludhiana, he said, this is an irreparable loss which no one can fill. He prayed for the courage to the family.

The former Chief Minister said, he had known Aditya for last few years during his visits to Ludhiana where he (Aditya) was a familiar face. "He was quite a loving and affable boy and nature has been too cruel for having snatched him away from us", he regretted.
