In the context of growing globalization, a treatise on the comparative study of Indian and German laws has a meaning. This was stated by Dr. Manjit Singh Kang, Vice-Chancellor, PAU who was presented with the book \'German Indian Law, A Comparative Study\' authored by Mr. Harpreet Sandhu, former Additional Advocate General, Punjab and son of former PAU Estate Officer, Mr. T.S.Sandhu. Dr. Kang congratulated the author for the book and said that judiciary experts, lawers and others working in the German-Indian legal context will find the book useful.
Mr. Sandhu said that the book is a comprehensive brief that begins with the legal background and functioning of courts in Germany which has already enhanced over the strengthening of laws of mutual interest. He added that the book contains valuable information of the legal system, the structure and the functioning of courts of the two countries. Present among others on the occasion were Members of the Bar Council, Additional Director of Communication, Dr. Jagtar Singh Dhiman, Editor Punjabi, Mr. Gurbhajan Gill, famous photo artist, Mr. T.P.S.Sandhu, Dr. M.S.Toor.
