In view of the demands of Punjab Agricultural University Students Association (PAUSA) regarding filling of the ADO (Agricultural Development Officer) posts lying vacant in the Department of Agriculture for more than a decade, Dr. Manjit Singh Kang, Vice-Chancellor, PAU has written to the Hon\'ble Chief Minister, Punjab, S. Parkash Singh Badal informing him about the students agitation to get the demands fulfilled.
Dr. Kang informed in his letter to S. Badal that a meeting was arranged of the PAUSA representatives with the Agricultural Minister, S. Sucha Singh Langah about a week ago wherein the Minister had assured the students that the Punjab government would fill some posts in the near future. Dr. Kang has conveyed the request of students made to the University authorities to arrange a meeting with their representatives with the Hon\'ble Chief Minister to discuss the issue and has requested for a convenient date and time.
