PAU ORGANIZING FAIR OF BOOKS ON FEBRUARY 16

LUDHIANA,

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is organizing a three-day book fair in the front lawns of Mohinder Singh Randhawa Library from February 16 – 18. To exhibit the latest books, 40-45 leading publishers and book distributors from all over the country will participate in the fair. Dr Arvind Kumar, Deputy Director General (Edn), ICAR, New Delhi, will inaugurate the book fair on February 16 at 2.30 p.m. while Dr Manjit Singh Kang, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, will be the Guest of Honour on this occasion.

Dr (Mrs) J.K.Sangha, Librarian, PAU, informed that schools, colleges, librarians and other institutions involved in the educational activity can visit the fair to which entry will be free. The book fair will be open for the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. as it provides an opportunity to the faculty, research scholars, students, librarians and book lovers to browse a wide range of publications available on various subjects, in different languages and also for planning their procurement under one roof.
