PAU Kisan Club is organizing its annual function on February 3 at Kairon Kisan Ghar. Giving details, Dr M.S.Gill, Director of Extension Education, PAU, informed that S.Sucha Singh Langha, Agriculture Minister, Punjab, will be the chief guest while Dr Manjit Singh Kang, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, will preside over the function. Dr Gurbachan Singh, Agriculture Commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, will be the special guest on this occasion.
PPS Pangli, President of PAU Kisan Club, said that the programme will begin at 10.00 a.m. and progressive members of club including the farm women will be honoured in the function. The subject matter specialist of the University will provide tips to the participating farmers and farm women on progressive agriculture. Dr T.S.Riar, Coordinator of the cub, will anchor the proceedings of the annual function.
