Kabaddi player shot dead by CRPF Jawan in Bihar

In an astonishing incident, a CRPF jawan shot dead a national-level Kabaddi player at Patna in Bihar.



21-year-old Manisha played for the Railways and was supposed to participate in the National Games, which will begin at Ranchi on February 12.



She was on her way back home from Moin-Ul-Haq Stadium after practice when the CRPF Jawan chased her and got involved in a heated argument with her.



He got more furious when Manisha refused to share her mobile number with him. Singh then shot at her with his AK-47 rifle.



After firing about seventeen rounds at her, he turned the gun on himself. He has sustained serious injuries.



Manisha was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.



Singh has been admitted to Patna Medical College and Hospital and is in critical state.



The CRPF jawan has been booked under 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.



Manisha was posted as a clerk at the Danapur divisional office of the Eastern Central railway.
