An extravaganza was organized by the Department of English at Govt. College for Women, Ludhiana here today. It was a magnificent affair with many students displaying their talents. The Chief Guest of the day was Principal, Mrs. Gurminder Kaur who was welcomed by Mrs. Kiranjit Kaur, Head, Department of English. The students presented speeches of great men. Students of Functional English, B.A. III and B.A. II showcased sales presentation and documentaries. The prizes for various competitions namely Essay Writing, Poetry Writing, Story Writing & Caption Writing, Documentary Making, Best Project etc. were given to students. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Upneet Kaur, Deputy Head Girl of the college. Mrs. Sudarshan Mehta, Mrs. Harpreet Gill, Dr. Sarabhjot Kaur, Dr. Surinder Gill and Sh. Krishan Singh were also present.
