DR. SIKKA\'S DEMISE MOURNED AT PAU

LUDHIANA,

Dr. Manjit Singh Kang, Vice-Chancellor, PAU in his condolence message described the eminent Punjabi writer and philosopher, Dr. Ajit Singh Sikka as a motivating teacher, research scholar and a bold writer, who made Ludhiana proud with his literary contributions. Dr. Kang said that Dr. Sikka was a role model for many students. Remembering Dr. Sikka for his rich contribution, Dr. Jagtar Singh Dhiman, Additional Director of Communication, Mr. Gurbhajan Gill, Editor Punjabi, Dr. Nirmal Jaura, Deputy Director (PR), Dr. Anil Sharma, Assistant Director (TV/Radio) said that students associated with Young Writers Association, PAU derived inspiration from him. Dr. Sikka, after his retirement as Head of Department of Punjabi at Sikh National College, Banga carried out his literary activities at Ludhiana. A silence was observed in respect of the departed soul.
