DANIEL\'S EXHIBITION AT PAU DRAWS HUGE RUSH

LUDHIANA,

People from different walks of life including administrators, scientists, employees, students visited Dr. M.S.Randhawa Art Gallery of the PAU campus that is showcasing the exhibition of portraits \'FAITH\' by Australian Artist, Mr. Daniel Connell. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Manjit Singh Kang, Vice-Chancellor, PAU last evening. Appreciating the displays, the Dean, Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Gursharan Singh said that it is a unique exhibition in that the charcoal paintings of Sikh youth living in Australia have been projected in an exclusive manner. He congratulated the Artist for this great endeavour.

A city Hotelier, Mr. N.S.Nanda expressed that the exhibition projects Punjabi youth in a befitting manner. He congratulated the PAU Centre for Communication and International Linkages for their efforts in bringing the work of eminent artists to Ludhiana. Dr. M.S.Randhawa Art Gallery has become a landmark for the University and the city, he said.

The visitors are shown a six-minute presentation about the paintings by Mr. Connell. There is great enthusiasm among the visitors from the University and the city, said Mr. Connel while thanking Dr. Kang for the arrangement that has been made for the exhibition. The exhibition will continue upto February 9, he said.
