A books exhibition was inaugurated by college Principal Mrs. Gurminder Kaur at Government College for Women, Ludhiana. She was welcomed by Mrs. Rani Harinder Kaur, Librarian of the college. Speaking on the occasion principal said that books are our best friends and very important part and parcel of life. She further said these days the students are not using Library facilities as earlier. So we should try to create interest of our younger generation to use the library. Mrs. Librarian Rani Harinder Kaur said that ours library is one of the best libraries in Punjab. The total number of books in our library is 65000 approximately. We have full fledged reading room for the students. On this occasion, members of staff Mrs. Harpreet Gill, Dr. Surinder Gill, Dr. Sarbjot Kaur, Prof. Krishan Singh, Mrs. Narinderjit Kaur and Mrs. Rosy Sapra were also present.
