Tewari underlines need for imbibing moral values among children

LUDHIANA, November 7: Ludhiana MP and the national spokesperson of the All India Congress Committee Manish Tewari today underlined the need for teaching and imbibing the moral values among the children. He said, while it was important teach modern studies to the students, at the same time it was equally important to ensure that the children grow into good human beings.



Addressing the annual day function of the Shri Atamanand Jain School, Daresi here today, Tewari congratulated the management and the staff of the school for ensuring a balance between the moral and modern values. Appreciating the theme of moral values in the cultural progamme presented by the students, he said, it was very important for ensuring a proper and humanitarian society.



The MP maintained that the twentyfirst century belonged to Asia and India in particular. He pointed out, it is the youth of India who will represent the nation in the world. He observed, the Indian youth had made their mark everywhere. Addressing the students in particular, he called upon them to accept the modern challenges to make their impact.



Responding to the demand from the school management for construction of the auditorium, Tewari asked for the project proposal and assured that whatever would be possible he would do that.



Prominent among those present at the function included the president of the society Ashwani Kumar Jain, Ludhiana North MLA Harish Bedi, former MLA Surinder Dawer, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Bansal, PCC general secretary Pawan Dewan and others.
