PCTE ranked 38th among private B-Schools in India by OUTLOOK 2010.

PCTE has been ranked "38th private B-school" overall in India by OUTLOOK 2010 and the best in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir for the fifth time. "This ranking is done after the first few government B-Schools in the country by Outlook 2010 on different parameters like Selection Criterion, Personality Development, Academic Excellence, Infrastructure, Facilities and Placements," said, Dr. K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE Institutes. To add another feather to the cap, Dr. Kang illustrated that PCTE ranked 39th in Student\'s Job Placements all over country in both Government and Private B-Schools.

Yet, another parameter, which draws attention to PCTE is its ranking - 39th Private B-School in Academic excellence this year in the survey conducted by OUTLOOK in association with market research agency MUDRA. The aim of these surveys is quite clear as the companies are now clearer about what their newest managers should be all about. They are seeking workplace-savvy MBAs who can hit the ground running; hence these surveys are the snapshots to take decisions not only for the companies but also for the students, as MBA institutes are mushrooming.

PCTE recently received two awards namely Asia\'s Best B-school Leadership Award and Innovative Leadership Award at Suntec, Singapore on 24th July 10 . It is ranked 41st in India by Open Magazine and best B-School of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh , Jammu & Kashmir by AIMA for the last seven years. PCTE has won many awards for excellence in the field of business management like Dewang Mehta Business School award for B-School that encourages leadership as a part of curriculum. Along with it PCTE also received outstanding B-School (North) by Dainik Bhaskar B-School Leadership Awards. Apart from this he said that the Institute has been rated best B-school of Punjab, Haryana Rajasthan and J&K by leading magazines of India from the last five years consecutively.
