Jeff Hardy Bashes WWE, Defends Brother Matt Hardy

Responding to the release of Matt Hardy, Hardy\'s brother and current TNA Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy bashed World Wrestling Entertainment in an interview with the UK\'s Daily Star, adding that a change of scenery to TNA will be the best move of Matt\'s career.

\"I think if he came here, you would see the happiest, most dangerous and exciting Matt Hardy you\'ve ever seen. I hope that they let him leave and he shows up here any day now.\"

WWE did let him leave, releasing Hardy from his contract early Friday after the star posted a YouTube video featuring an unmasked Rey Mysterio. A focal point of TNA\'s current They/Team Hogan storyline, new champ Jeff isn\'t about to speak highly of the company his brother tried so hard to leave.

\"I\'m not going to give WWE their props for the way they\'ve dealt with Matt. He is such a giving talent, ready to do anything for them, and he\'s been given the runaround. They\'ve treated him like [expletive].\"

Matt and Jeff rose to fame in the late \'90s as The Hardy Boyz, capturing the WWE Tag Team Championships six times. Jeff Hardy left WWE in 2009.
