Two M. Sc. students of PAU School of Agricultural Biotechnology(SAB), namely Ms Pooja Manchanda and Ms Hemal Bhasin have cleared UGC test in Life Sciences category conducted by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) at the national level in June 2010. Giving details, the Director of the SAB, Dr. S.S.Gosal said that around two lakh students appeared in the test. Pooja cleared CSIR-UGC NET-JRF that provides her eligibility for lecturer ship while Hemal cleared CSIR-UGC NET that makes her eligible for admission to Ph. D programme with fellowship under CSIR scheme. Ms Hemal Bhasin has also cleared ICMR-JRF test, said Dr. Gosal. He congratulated both the students for their achievement
