PAU AGRI-ENGINEERING STUDENTS SELECTED FOR TOP JOBS

Students of College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology are getting attractive job offers in reputed national and international conference even before the completion of their degree requirements. The multi-national companies (MNCs) manufacturing tractors, harvesters and other farm machines and those dealing with agro-processing visit the College for on-campus placement interviews. Already seven final year students of B. Tech. Agricultural Engineering who will be completing their graduation requirements in 2011 have been selected through on-campus interviews by panel of executives of reputed companies. The Dean of the College, Dr. P.P.S.Lubana said that two students namely Gurjeet Virk and Varun Chaudhary have been selected by Mahindra and Mahindra Group while five students namely Navreet Kaur, Rajwant Kaur, Anu Gilhotra, Harsimran Singh and Sushant Mehan have been selected by John Deere, Pune. The visiting organizations appreciated the infrastructure and the teaching facilities at PAU. The Training and Placement Committee of the College is establishing liaison with the potential job providers and preparing the students for the interview skills. Dr. Lubana appreciated the efforts made by Dr. Satish Kumar Gupta and Dr. Vishal Bector.
