My son is too young for politics: Lalu Prasad

Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad told the media that his son is too young to enter into politics.Earlier on Friday, Sep 24, Lalu officially introduced his 20-year-old younger son Tejaswi Yadav during a political rally just ahead of assembly elections in the state. Tejaswi played Ranji trophy representing Jharkhand state and was part of IPL\'s Delhi Daredevil\'s squad.





But later Lalu faced serious criticism from his political opponents for projecting his son as his political successor. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar accused that Lalu is trying to perpetuate family-driven politics. Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi told Lalu was forcing his son to plunge into politics to boost his own electoral prospects.



But on Sunday, Sep 26, making a U turn, Lalu told the reporters that Tejaswee is too young for politics and is five years away from contesting in elections.
