There was huge rush of people, comprising students and their parents, who visited Punjab Agricultural University in connection with participating in the counseling of different courses, today. They started reaching the University in the early hours of the day. There was an elaborate arrangement for shelter and sitting so that the visitors do not face any difficulty. As a good gesture the PAU staff belonging to Estate Organization and office of Comptroller organized chhabeels of water and snacks for the visitors. This effort was applauded by the visitors. Dr. Manjit Singh Kang, Vice-Chancellor, PAU also congratulated all those connected with this activity. The PAU Estate Officer-cum-Chief Engineer, Dr. Gurkirpal Singh said that the helping hand by the staff was welcomed and that the University takes care for the visitors especially during entrance tests and counseling. He appreciated the efforts in particular of Mr. Harmanjit Singh, Mr. Inderjit Singh, Mr. Ram Ji Dass, Mr. Ranjit Singh, Mr. Jasbir Singh, Mr. Harjinder Singh and Mr. Ram Parkash.
