PAU KISAN CLUB TRAINING ON JULY 1

The PAU Kisan Club is organizing its monthly training camp in the Wheat auditorium on the PAU Campus on July 1 at 9.30 a.m.. The Director of Extension Education, Dr. M.S.Gill said that on this occasion, the subject matter specialists of the University will discuss different topics for the benefit of participating farmers. Dr. J.S.Sandhu will talk on bio-safety aspects of Bt crops, Dr. Chander Mohan on management of crops diseases, Dr. Surjit Singh on scientific cultivation of basmati, Dr. R.T.Patil will discuss opportunities of food processing for profitability. Singh Pangli said that in a special meeting of the Club Executive held in Kairon Kisan Ghar, today, the programme for the training camp was finalized besides paying homage to the former President of the Club, Mr. Baldev Singh Jhajj who left for his heavenly abode recently. The programme Director and Coordinator are Dr. M.S.Gill, Director of Extension Education and Dr. T.S.Riar, respectively. Dr. Rupinder Kaur is the Coordinator of the Club (Ladies Wing).
