Dr. J.S.Sawhney, former Senior Agronomist at PAU expired, today. A condolence meeting was held in the Department of Agronomy wherein the contributions of Dr. Sawhney towards strengthening of agronomy discipline at PAU were remembered by the faculty and students. Dr. U.S.Walia, Head of the Department described Dr. Sawhney as an industrious, helpful and committed worker who generated a number of farmworthy recommendations for the farmers. Dr. Manjit Singh Kang, Vice-Chancellor, PAU also condoled Dr. Sawhney\'s demise and sympathized with the bereaved family memebers
