CREATIVE SKILLS AMONG CHILDREN HELP PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT: GURKIRPAL



Addressing the prize distribution function of little children of PAU campus on the concluding day of a ten-day camp on \'development of creative skills among children\', organized jointly by the PAU Faculty Club and Anurag Trust, an NGO, the PAU Estate Officer-cum-Chief Engineer, Dr. Gurkirpal Singh said that during vocation, children must be involved in some creative activity. The creative skills among children help in their personality development, he remarked. He distributed prizes among the best performing children. The camp was organized in Faculty Club on the PAU campus wherein 30 children in the age group of 6-11 years participated. They were provided tips and hands-on experience in painting, sketching, clay modeling, singing, etc. by the experts of Anurag Trust. Ms Namita of the Trust said that during holidays, the children are provided exposure to creative skills and are made to have interaction with Nature so that they can imbibe these trait in their personality. Present on the occasion were Dr. Pushpinder Pal Singh Aulakh, Dr. S.K.Singla, Dr. O.P.Chaudhary, Dr. H.S.Kingra and Dr. Anil Sharma.
