Police and Security Forces recovered arms and ammunition from the two separate hideouts of terrorists at different places during a joint search operation in general area of Dalgach Laksherwan Charwan Khari Banihal and Chabba Ganote falling under the jurisdictions of o Police Station Banihal and Ramban of district Ramban respectively.
Reports revealed that on specific information regarding the presence of terrorist in general area of Dalgach Laksherwan Charwan Khari Banihal , Police party in association with column of 17 Rashtriya Rifle launched a joint search operation . The suspected area was cordoned off and during the search operation troops noticed a natural hideout of terrorists which was smashed. The arms and ammunition recovered from the busted hideout which includes one Chinese Grenade with one magazine 12 blankets, 30 Kilogram ration, spices, 06 Kgs. kerosene /mustered oil ,one axe ,clothing items , bedding and some medicines .
Another hideout was busted today at Chabba Ganot under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramban. The hideout was smashed during a joint search operation launched by Police and 12 RR after developing an information. The arms ammunition recovered from the busted hideout are one AK 56 rifle with 02 Magazines and 25 rounds and 08 Pika rounds.
