BLOOD DONATION BY SIKH NATION!

The Sikh Group That Has Become “The Life Blood Of Canada” Honored In Ottawa
Members of this transparent Sikh Nation, including its passionate and dedicated spokesperson Sunil Kumar, met with the members o f the Punjabi Press Club on Monday to bring their message of brotherly love, selfless sacrifice and the need to have Sikhs take centre stage through the donation of blood which is the lifeline of humanity!
OTTAWA - On 15 September in a well attended and impressive ceremony in Ottawa, The Life Saving Campaign of Blood Donation by Sikh Nation run by the Sikhs of North America were honored. The messages from Michaelle Jean Governor General of Canada and the Prime Minister of Canada were read. The Ceremony was attended by board members of Canadian Blood Services and distinguished members of various backgrounds.
Famous Appeal Court retired Judge Horace Krever and Andre Picard from Globe and Mail were the keynote speakers whose efforts in making the Canadian Blood system safer were lauded. When the Contribution of the Sikhs in the Life Saving campaign was read everyone in the hall stood from their seats and clapped in recognition. These emotional moments revealed the Sikhism’s philosophy of humanity to the world in practice. The credit of this honour goes to all the Sikh donors who give the gift of life to thousands by donating blood every year.
Furthermore it is important to mention that this campaign is dedicated to the memory of innocent victims of November 1984 Genocide of Sikh in Delhi, which is always whole heartedly supported by Sikh Sangat, Gurudawars and notably from all Media.
The donors and the volunteers of this campaign firmly believe that with the support of all of you this Campaign will contribute to help the Sikhs to achieve greater heights in the world; and will make the November 1984 Genocide of Sikhs a permanent part of history so that people of any background anywhere on this earth can never become the victims of such incidents of gross human rights violation in future.
