A third man was charged with being an accessory to the murder of Singh, who was shot in the chest at close range during the robbery, and police said they were still looking for other offenders, including the driver of a getaway car.
The three were due to appear in court later on Thursday.
There is an average of one aggravated robbery a week in the Auckland region and representatives of about 12,000 Sikhs, who own most of the small liquor and convenience stores, met police this week to demand more protection.
